Nicholas James Vujicic (Nick) was born in Melbourne Australia on December, 4 1982. He was born with Tetra-Amelia syndrome, which is a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. Nick is the eldest child in his family followed by his two siblings, Michelle and Aron. His parents names are Dushka and Boris. He struggled with his disability. He tried to commit suicide because people at school bullied him, and made fun of him. He then thought he was not good enough, and that he had no purpose to life.   After a couple suicide attempts, he realized how important he was, and that he did not want to leave his loved ones. Even though  Nick was born not having any limbs, he managed to accomplish many things. He graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial planning and accounting in 2003 at the age of 21. Nick is currently an internationally successful inspirational speaker,who has proven himself in all aspects of his life, and made a difference in many lives through his speeches.

Nick has traveled from school to school talking about his life. He traveled the world to tell his phenomenal story and helping others with how to deal with difficult situations in life. Nick has said “ My goal is to encourage younger people to overcome their own challenges and hardship, so people can find themselves and their purpose and pathways to live ridiculously good lives.” Nick is one who is so full of joy and hope that he himself brings light to people around him.  Nick Vujicic once said that “the greatest disabilities that all of us have are not physical; guilt and fear are what cripple men the most.”

Nick Vujicic is teaching others to lead people along with yourself, not to command them, but to encourage them with faith. He explains and describe things in life that may be on your way to your personal goal. He asked why people complain, moan and dislike their lives and get depressed most of time, while a man without limbs could happily put on a smile across his face and end each day with it.  He speaks to the young and old, the wealthy and impoverished, those with disabilities and without, freely sharing his story to give hope and inspiration.

Vujicic has learned to become independent and can now take care of his personal needs. He can brush his teeth, comb his hair, get dressed, and shave on his own. He hops around his house or uses an electric wheelchair to get around, especially when outdoors, and enjoys fishing, swimming, and playing soccer in his free time. Nick Quotes that “I believes in miracle. Therefore, he always keeps a pair of shoes inside his closet.” meaning he believes someday god will somehow grant him legs, whether it is real or prosthetic legs.

Nick Vujicic is happily married, well-educated , and  went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree in financial planning Vujicic went on to get a Bachelor’s degree and accounting, and has become a father. Through all his speeches he has given, he has shown people that you have a purpose in life, and you are here for a reason. He has changed many people’s lives for the good. When people say they can’t do this, or they can’t do that, Nick believes that if you put your mind towards something, you will always be able to do it. You just have to believe in yourself. Nick can do more things that many others can not do. Nick quotes that “When people say you can’t do it, that it’s impossible, never lose hope just because they couldn’t doesn’t mean you can’t.”
